At the heart of every story are the hands that bring it to life.

Drew Graves
Creative Director

Drew’s passion for visual storytelling, which is emotionally resonant, captivates audiences and leaves a lasting impact is the driving force behind The Hundred Hands approach to creating film and content with purpose and commercial impact.

With a career that began with a student BAFTA award for a documentary on the Soil Association, Drew uses his technical expertise (including specialist filming techniques and custom-built rigs), artistic vision and skill in turning the brief into high performing content to work with a portfolio of clients which includes the NHS, Fostering South West, Plymouth’s marine and defence sectors and leading arts and culture organisations.

When he’s not busy filming, directing and project managing The Hundred Hands team, you’ll find Drew renovating his house, building a new production studio and exploring the South West’s landscape and Celtic mythology.

When he’s not busy scripting, editing and capturing images for social content, campaigns and films for The Hundred Hands, he spends his time playing and composing music and creating his own biographical film about his life in South Wales

Sarah Gunn
Engagement Lead

With a background in Public Relations, marketing and business engagement, Sarah brings over 35 years experience to the team working across the charity, regeneration and tourism sectors.

Collaboration, building strong relationships and working together to achieve creative solutions which deliver results are key to her work as part of the team.

When she’s not reaching out to new partners to work with or planning campaigns, you’ll find her teaching the piano, walking the coast path and attempting to write her own screenplay!

Matthew Raistrick
Audio Recordist & Engineer

After 15 years as a recording engineer in the music business working with artists including Joss Stone and Adele, Matthew now applies his audio expertise to visual podcasting and filming projects for The Hundred Hands.

A specialist in sound for immersive storytelling, he is developing cutting-edge technology with Cambridge University which brings a unique first person perspective to soundtracks. The technology could be used as part of the  PTSD recovery process and bring the natural world to those with mobility or visual disabilities.

When he’s not perfecting sound levels and audio quality for The Hundred Hands, you’ll find Matthew at his book shop and music café,  Rapscallion Books in Plymouth, or mixing new music tracks in his production studio.
